Horsehide Tool Roll
A rare tool/spanner roll, handmade using front quarter full grain Horween Horsehide.
Inspired by centuries old use of leather such as the famous 'Pony Express Service' of 1860, where a single piece of leather was folded and bound around important documents/correspondence, then stuffed in saddlebags.
So why Horsehide?
Compared to standard cow hide, horsehide has a much tighter natural fibre structure. This makes it stronger, more abrasion resistant, and more water resistant than cow hide.
But most importantly for a tool roll, it also means less bulk making it more manageable when rolled up.
It also looks great by showing all its natural markings, perfect alongside your old/vintage tools.
(Tools shown in photo are not included. The tallest being 6 inches, shown for indication. The roll will accommodate tools up to 7 inches tall)
